To clarify for all those asking about other pets: This is the COMPLETE list of pets. There is no bull pet at all (someone made a fake pic of the Bull in Pre-Searing)! Tamable spiders can ONLY be found in the Underworld (you cannot tame moss spiders).
Sorry to ruin your hopes! |

What would be really cool is to have a dragon for a pet which I don't see on the list. Do you think they will ever have these?

btw, E/R can go the traps/spirit path, but I guess most traps don't come early. |

Bears?
I've tryed to charm a Bear and he slaps me and stops me from charming. I had my Beatmastery at 10. is it beastmastery that helps with the charming or expertise?
anyway....how do you charm the hard to charm animal? |

You have Moa Bird as Slashing and Strider as Piercing. I see it is that way in the guide. Is it confirmed that the Moa and Strider give different forms of damage? Also which is better? I have a Strider from pre, would a Moa be better / worse or the same?

Actually, you can no longer charm the bear in Pre-Searing Ascalon, it was patched so the work arounds found in the forums no longer work. NOTE: Skill recharge has been lowered to 4 seconds when your pet dies. Last edited by Dragon Incarnate; Jun 14, 2005 at 10:17 PM // 22:17.. |

I wish that any creature could be charmed - not just the 'friendly' creatures. As it is, as soon as you try to charm the friendly ones they turn on you anyway, so why not just open up all creatures to be possible of being charmed. And link it to Beastmastery lvl or something, so that you cant charm a creatures whos lvl is above yours... or something along those lines.
But the basic idea it that people could also be rewarded more by exploring and finding rare creatures as well as help with individualism of their character. Just image a pet bone dragon or abomonation...! |

I would say from this guide the wolf will go up in rank from Pre sear lvl 2 wolf to a post sear lvl 5+ wolf The stats should follow base dmg of the level of animal then like the guide suggests is tied to your BM level. |

Wolf will be tested soon, but it is unlikely to be any different from the Stalker. As soon as the test is complete I'll update. |

CRAP! Yep you're right, I screwed up the type of damage when I alphabetized the list! Thanks for pointing that out, and sorry!! Last edited by Dragon Incarnate; Jun 15, 2005 at 10:38 PM // 22:38.. |

No biggie about that one, What really intrigues me is the Moa Bird and Strider. The guide lists it the same as you have it. I am really wondering if the damage types are different or if this is another oversight of the guide? This really begs to ask which one is better?

I've not seen this noted anywhere, so I will mention it. Today, putting around the southern area around the Granite Citadel, I happened across 2 Elder Wolves. One was red, one was green, both level 15. I tamed the green one, I didnt try the red one. I dont know if they're any different than wolves from other areas, save thier level. Something new I hadnt heard of

Wow, that's good to know, thanks for that info! Maybe they're increasing pet levels in harder areas so you don't have to try and powerlevel your level 5 pet when you're level 20. |
